Sara Graham Richardson's jewelry-making journey began in 2005, when she was hired to be an assistant editor for a new magazine called Step by Step Wire Jewelry. Having been hired for her journalism background at the time, she knew almost nothing about jewelry. After being encouraged to take jewelry-making classes to understand how to edit the step-by-step projects, Sara found another creative medium, besides creative writing, in which to express herself.
After a few years at the magazine, she was promoted to associate editor. She kept taking classes at Bead Fest, and discovered she was most proficient in chain maille and some wire techniques. Now, she not only knew how to copy edit the projects, but could also make them herself! In August 2010, she decided to break out on her own, and start Creative World of Sara's Lovestruck Jewelry.
Lovestruck Jewelry can be found on Etsy, and at several craft shows in the Philadelphia suburbs. Sara also provides jewelry-making parties for children and adults, as well as in-home trunk shows. Sara's work has been published in over 20 jewelry-making print and digital publications, including Step by Step Wire Jewelry, Easy Wire, and Creative Jewelry (making the cover in 2008).
Sara, a native of Getzville, New York, a suburb of Buffalo, lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania with her husband Mike, and daughter Michaela.

HERE'S WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR PARTIES:
"Sara did a great job with the birthday party for my two daughters aged 7 and 9. Both my daughters were born in July, 9 days apart, so we planned one party for the two of them, with girls ranging from 7-9 years old. She did a great job teaching the girls, and was able to keep them engaged for an hour and a half making bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. At one point, the girls were so engaged that the room was totally quiet (which was nice for the parents). All the girls were happy to take home their own professional-looking jewelry, along with a gift necklace made by Sara. The party was very easy to organize, just a couple of emails and a short phone call, and everything was arranged within minutes. I would definitely recommend Sara for a jewelry making party for girls, it took all of the hassle away from renting a venue or trying to come up with your own activities to keep the girls entertained." -Miriam W., Wallingford, PA
"Sara did a fabulous job with our tween jewelry making party. The girls were engaged from the very beginning and the pieces turned out beautifully! Sara was both patient and very sweet with the girls. The process of booking the party was easy, and Sara accommodated our special requests. Thanks, Sara, for helping to make my daughter's birthday party such a fun event!" -Jill H., Collegeville, PA
"Lovestruck Jewelry provided a great party for my daughter. When faced with a dozen excited, hyped up 7-year-old girls, Sara deftly took control. Within minutes, she had the girls organized and working on their necklaces. The high pitched screaming and running around were replaced by laughter and calm chatter as the girls made their necklaces. I had been worried about it being too difficult for the girls to do, but Sara made the whole process easy and fun for them. I received compliments from the parents for weeks afterwards about how much fun the girls had, and how pretty their necklaces were." -Heather B., Collegeville, PA
"Sara did a beading party for my daughter’s 8th birthday at our home. There were 11 girls there, from ages 6 to 11. Sara arrived on time and was very organized. She brought a wide variety of supplies. She was incredibly patient with everyone – from instructing them on beading and design ideas, to putting the clasps on when several kids were clamoring for her attention at the same time. It was a great party activity – the girls were occupied doing something creative, worked at their own level, and could still have conversations with one another. The goodie bags for the guests and the birthday girl were amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in hosting a kids’ beading party!" -Christa H., West Chester, PA
"Sara did a home party for me for about 25 girlfriends, their daughters, and granddaughters. Sara did a wonderful job. She came in, set up neatly, and broke down promptly afterward. I provided a few tables. Her merchandise was varied and plentiful. There was something for everyone! We all had a great time...want to do it again!" -Carmella, Worcester, PA
